DR ANDREW PARTON

BSc (Hons)(Liverpool 1987) MB ChB (Liverpool 1992) DCH DRCOG DFFP MRCGP (Merit)

Dr Parton is a GP he has interests in Diabetes, Asthma, COPD and ENT. He has a passion for sport and enjoys walking his dog, and playing golf (badly).

DR SINEAD REID

Female

MB ChB (Liverpool 2004), MRCGP, DFSRH (LOC in subdermal implants) PGCE (Medical Education)

Dr Reid is a GP trainer and partner. She has interests in family planning, Women’s health and COPD. She is a keen follower of the Irish rugby team and enjoys worldwide travels and spending time with her family and her Sprocker spaniel.

DR MATTHEW TITTERTON

Male

MB ChB (Leicester 2003) MRCGP

Dr Titterton is a GP, Partner and a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine. He is also a keen runner and a big fan of music and cinema.

DR HABIBA ZAMAN

MB ChB (Hons) (Liverpool 2010) MRCGP, MSc

Dr Zaman graduated from The University of Liverpool with an Honours. She has also completed training in Western Medical Acupuncture, Letter of Competence in Intrauterine devices (that's coils!).

DR HTIN MAUNG

MB ChB (Liverpool 2014) MRCGP

Dr Maung first came to us in 2020 after he qualified as a GP he stayed with us and later became a Partner. He is interested In ENT and is also a keen follower of Chelsea FC.

DR HASSAN SALEEM

MB CNB (Liverpool 2011) MRCGP

Dr Saleem is a GP and is involved in the training and assessment of medical students with The University Of Manchester. He is also bilingual and fluent in Urdu.

DR OLUWAFEMI IDOWU

Male

MBBS (Okada), MRCGP (2014), PG Diploma in Diabetes

Dr Idowu is a GP. He likes to play football and video games in his spare time.

Nurse Practitioners

ALISON WILLIAMS

RGN, Asthma diploma, COPD diploma, CHD diploma, Heart Failure course, BSc (Hons) Community Health -General Practice Nursing

Alison is our Advanced practitioner. She is proficient in dealing with a wide range of general practice problems.

Nurses

In addition to their routine work, our practice nurses provide shared care in the management of blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, diabetes, family planning, cytology, the menopause and hormone replacement treatment. In daily nurse triage sessions, our nurses have been trained to assess short-term illness and to provide health advice.

KATE HOWARTH

RN, Asthma Dip, Diabetes/Cardiovascular Dip, Warwick Diabetes Diploma

Kate has been with the practice since 2009; she joined as a practice nurse but later became a Nurse prescriber and specialises in diabetes. She enjoys walks in the Lake District and keeping fit..

LAUREN MADEN

BSC Bachelor of Science (hons) in Adult Nursing

Enjoys spending quality time with family, and going to the gym in her spare time.

Nurse Associates

The nursing associate is a clinical support role that bridges the gap between healthcare support workers and registered nurses. Created to deliver hands-on, person-centered care as part of nursing teams.

Practice Management

RACHEL CRITCHLOW

Female

Rachel joined the Practice in 2009 as the Office Manager and has since progressed to the role of Operations Manager. Rachel is a qualified coach and mentor through the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), an accredited health coach, and holds a membership with the Institute of General Practice Management (IGPM) and the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). Rachel brings extensive experience in practice operations, leadership, and staff development, supporting the smooth running of the Practice and delivery of high-quality patient services

SARAH HULMES

Female

Joined the practice in 2022 as the Office Manager and is now the Business manager.

Reception

The reception staff are trained to help you access our services and to ensure that the practice runs smoothly. However, please remember that they are not doctors and nurses and, whilst they work hard to help you, they may not have instant answers or solutions to all your enquiries.

ALIYA MAHMOOD

Aliya is the Office Manager, she first started as a Receptionist in 2022.

Community Nurses

The District Nurses are no longer practice based. They can be contacted on tel: 0161 763 8525. Our District Nurse Team are based at Croft Shifa Health Centre. They visit patients requiring home nursing care both short and long term and can give details of dressing clinics available.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors are no longer practice based and can be contacted on telephone: 01706 674920. The health visiting team provide management of child health services for our under fives. They are also concerned with health education and can offer advice on stress management and weight reduction. We also regularly involve specialist nurses such as Macmillan nurses for cancer or terminal care patients and community psychiatric nurses for patients with appropriate need.
